Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce 5 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal on the balance beam. It made her an the only American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. In the 2016 Olympics she was awarded an Olympic gold medal in the team event that earned her along with her teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being the first Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. Also, silver medals were awarded in both the all-around individual and floor exercises. Following the 2nd Olympics the gymnast took three years off from gymnastics. Also, she was a one of the gold medal winning American squads at two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly supports an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who passed away from cancer. Aly hopes to achieve an enviable career as a fashion designer. The leotards she wears as a signature along with socks and other garments are expected to be enlarged in the near future. Fierce is due to be released in the summer of this year.
